- Any computer produced for the world wide market has to be accepted in
- the NA market. Americans have a high disposible income and that income
- drives much of the the consumer computer market. The same is true for
- Europe also, although the disposible income is probably higher in NA. If
- an Amiga doesn't get a good support base in BOTH Europe and NA, it's going
- to die. I have no doubt about that! AT doesn't seem to understand that.
- Their moving so slow into the NA market, their going to end up loosing
- all their investment in the Amiga. If you don't believe me about the
- Amiga needing both markets, look at what happened with C=.
-
- Regarding the conspiracy that Michael was talking about. We've talked
- quite a bit about this and it's the only thing that makes sense. I don't
- think the problem was a matter of stupidity because you don't become or
- stay a millionare by making stupid business decisions. It can't be a
- matter of bad luck with the market because everyone knew what C= needed to
- do to fix the situation long before the bankruptcy happened. There was
- plenty of simple solutions to C='s problem. The only other possiblity
- is illegal activities by powerful people either that want the Amiga dead or
- that could care less about their investment. I don't know about you but
- if I invested large amounts of money in something, I would try to help it
- make money.
